1 Minute Vegan Salted Caramel Sauce Recipe (Gluten Free)
Equipment
- 1 Blender
Ingredients
Ingredients
- 1 cup Dates
- 1/2 cup Nut butter such as peanut, cashew, or almond butter
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract or pinch of vanilla powder
- 1 pinch Salt
Optional Extras
- 1 tbsp Mesquite powder (for more of a caramel taste)
- 1 ml Lucuma powder (for a sweet ice cream like taste)
- 2 tbsp Cacao/carob powder (for a chocolate sauce)
- 2 tbsp Maple syrup (for a sweeter sauce)
- 1-2 tbsp Coconut oil (if you want the sauce to set in the fridge)
Instructions
- Use either a food processor or a high speed blender and blend until smooth. *Add 1 tablespoon of extra water at a time if needed.
- Use straight away or store in the fridge in a jar for up to 2 weeks
